Color my world

Part of the fun of getting your own pad and not living out of a suitcase anymore is the really the fun of unpacking belongings…the stuff that gathers dust over time but illustrates the full experience of your existence.
However, the toughest question surrounds the issue of organization. When we had to decide how to line up our books, numerous options were discussed. The Dewey system?? By topic/ subject? By author? By size of books? How about aka High Fidelity - to line up the books autobiographically - ie, representative of the time in which each piece of reading material was bought?
If you are a student of taxonomy or organization, it is useful to note that there really isnt’ one superior way of organzing information - it simply has to appeal to the way your mind registers, absorbs and processes that information. So finally, this is what we decided on…
Viola! By colour - following the RYGB scale too (Colors of the rainbow). The love for aesthetics beat down all other logical forms of organizing. But just to mention that all that jazz about organizing information is still useful information…
And guess what, we are not the only ones who do this. Check this out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=45DlE0zoMSU
